Welcome to Froneberger & Leviloff

Announcement:  With profound regrets, we announce the passing of Henry D. Froneberger, founding partner of Froneberger and Leviloff and its former incarnation “Burroughs and Froneberger.”  Henry passed in the presence of loved ones on Friday, January 5, 2018, after a short but heroic battle with cancer.

Henry was well-respected in the Marin County legal community, where he practiced for many years.  He joined John D. Burroughs in Point Reyes Station in 1990 after practicing in San Francisco for seventeen years. Henry was very active in the community and devoted many hours over the years to volunteer work for various non-profit groups, provided pro bono legal assistance through Legal Aid, was a youth soccer coach, a baseball coach and commissioner of Little League Baseball in Fairfax, and served as a mentor for “at risk” youth.  Henry also served with distinction in the armed forces and was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a devoted husband, father, and friend.

While the loss of a friend, colleague, and legal expert can never be compensated for, Kristi Edwards and Darin Leviloff are dedicated to carrying on Henry’s legacy.  The firm will continue to provide legal services in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate/trust litigation and will continue to practice under the name of Froneberger & Leviloff.

Experienced in estate planning, civil and probate litigation, and transactional law, our firm can provide you with a broad range of legal services. With coordinated teamwork, we effectively handle complex cases and keep straightforward matters from becoming complicated ones. Engaging our firm gives you the advantage of the personal attention of a small firm at a reasonable cost.

Quality work and careful attention to detail has gained us respect in the legal community. Our experienced probate team prepares custom estate plans to meet each client’s needs. Most law suits are brought to a positive conclusion through settlement, but our experience at trial is extensive. In addition to our trial practice, we have had excellent results in the numerous appeals we have handled. A thorough understanding of real estate and small business law completes the package of services we offer our clients.

Marin County Civic Center

The Marin County Civic Center, the last commission by Frank Lloyd Wright, is located near our office in San Rafael, California. The smaller wing is the county administration building and the larger the Hall of Justice (completed in 1969), joined by a round structure on a small hill that houses a county library. Affectionately known as “Big Pink,” it is a National and California Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
